This is an exciting and vivid 7-minute piece of chamber music for the unusual combination of clarinet, violin, cello and bass. "Desperate Measures" was commissioned by Concordia College (Bronxville, NY) and was premiered 7 July 2006 at the Saratoga County Art Center in Saratoga Springs, NY as part of the "New York City Ballet Musicians and Friends" series of chamber concerts.
